About & Purpose

Dr. Garcia started 2020 ONSIGHT O.D. with the singular goal of bringing sight on purpose anywhere there’s a need. That purpose may be an at-home eye exam for the parent who cannot miss work, an on-site eye exam for a senior at a care facility, a charitable exam for the homeless, or even a school screening for a community in need. The possibilities of mobile eye exams are potentially endless and the impact they can have on a family, a community, or even a whole region is what drove Dr. Garcia to embark on this new endeavor.

 

This is not your typical eye exam at a private or retail clinic, but rest assured we deliver comprehensive exams bound by standards of care. We utilize the same ophthalmic equipment you normally encounter at a conventional eye clinic (digital acuity chart, phoropter, autorefractor, Haag-Streit slit lamp with Goldmann tonometer, Tono-Vera handheld tonometer, wireless BIO, and/or other diagnostic equipment that can be transported). All exams are documented with HIPAA compliant electronic health records (Barti EHR), and we have protocols in place to appropriately refer cases to ophthalmology when needed.

Meet Our Doctor/Owner
Dr. Danny Jose Garcia

Dr. Danny Jose Garcia was born and raised in Nicaragua until the age of twelve when him and his family emigrated to Georgia and called it home. He was a Woodstock Wolverine and a KSU Owl before attending Southern College of Optometry, where he graduated cum laude in 2018. Most of his career has been as an associate for MyEyeDr. Moreover, in his seven years of patient care he has provided over 30,000 exams. He is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and American Optometric Association, and he prides himself in delivering the utmost comprehensive eyecare his training has prepared him for.

Dr. Garcia is married to Natalie Garcia (12 years strong) and together they raise three exceptionally beautiful daughters (Arianna, Carolina, and Camilla). Besides learning and educating others about eyes, Dr. Garcia’s biggest joy is making memories with his girls.

2020 ONSIGHT O.D. is not an optical and we do not sell glasses or contact lenses (the contact lenses utilized are for diagnostic purposes only, i.e. “contact lens fits”). However, the prescriptions we write are valid at any optical in the United States or online (e.g. Zenni Optical, Warby Parker, 1-800-CONTACTS etc.)

OUR SERVICES ARE BY APPOINTMENT AND SELF-PAY ONLY. NO REFUNDS ON SERVICES RENDERED.

 

Each patient encounter is treated “case by case.” As such, our prices will vary depending on several factors. Please give us a call, text, or email so we can address your specific needs.

 

As a general guideline: 

  • New comprehensive exam $220 (exclusions apply).

  • New soft contact lens fitting $100 in addition to required comprehensive exam ($320 total)

  • New medical exam (foreign body removal, abrasions etc.) $440 (price includes necessary follow ups and/or referrals)
